Asociatia Romii Impreuna is a non-governmental, humanitarian association

The Mission of Association “Romii Impreuna” exists to contribute in the construction of a strong society, working with the poor and disfavoured, so as to set up a base to empower people for their personal joy and collective welfare.

The values of Association Romii Impreuna: professionalism, optimism, accountability, responding to the needs in the poor and disfavoured in the community, irrespective of values and cultural differences.

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES:

Developing the roma community and the process of development in the context of their civil, social and economic “rights”.

Developing co-operative relationships and partnerships with private, public and national associations, specialising in investigating and implementing social programs for roma people.

CURRENT PROJECTS:

The desire of Association Romii Impreuna is for support to begin a “pre-school” and “preparation school” project for roma children in the community. Association Romii Impreuna bought a house in the Vilcele community, repaired and renovated as necessary and purchased materials and supplies necessary to complete the proposed purposes and objectives.

THEY NEED YOU

In conclusion we need to consider that the roma people and the children live with unusually difficult conditions. The consequences of being without any economic resources are: no food and clothing, no education or qualifications for the roma young people making it difficult to obtain the necessary resources to live.
